
has a new gift that parents may find useful: The ability to PIN-protect individual titles. Currently, Netflix allows users to set PINs for all Netflix content above a certain maturity rating. For example, if you're worried about little Jimmy watching R-rated movies, you can set your account such that any R-rated movie requires a PIN.

"We understand that every family is different and that parents have differing perspectives on what they feel is appropriate to watch at different ages," writes Netflix's director of advanced content Mike Hastings in a blog post.
Netflix says the feature will roll out worldwide in the "coming months."

So in case you're prone to forget that Guardians of the Galaxy is rated PG-13 for "brief suggested content," well, now you'll know.
